Ideal for getting up to speed quickly on your EMS room scheduling or calendaring software, online training is a flexible, cost-effective way to make the most of your system. Sessions take place over the internet using a state-of-the-art web conferencing system that creates a link between your computer and the trainer's. No complicated set-up is required; simply log-in, sit back and start learning!

Online training can give you all the information you need to start making reservations and posting event information online or can be helpful in preparing for a visit from a trainer/consultant. Access to regularly-scheduled EMS Lite training sessions is free (click the Course Schedule link above for dates and times). For other products, a number of online training packages are available and can be scheduled as needed:

Introduction to EMS™ for the New User (2 Hours)

EMS Lite, EMS Professional, EMS Enterprise, EMS Workplace

This training is designed to help new users understand how to make and edit reservations, find information and run reports. The session includes:

• 2 hours of instruction on using the primary booking, browsing and reporting functions in EMS

Understanding EMS Master Calendar (4 Hours)

EMS Master Calendar

Perfect if you are new to Master Calendar, this session involves:

• 2-3 hours of instruction on configuring Master Calendar
• 1 hour of instruction on using the system as a calendar manager

Configuring and Using EMS for Catering (2 Hours)

EMS Professional, EMS Enterprise, EMS Workplace

This session is designed for organizations that want to begin using the catering functionality in EMS. It covers:

• Configuring your catering categories
• Creating your resources and services
• Running catering reports

Billing and Invoicing in EMS (2 Hours)

EMS Professional, EMS Enterprise, EMS Workplace

Ideal for organizations that are new to billing in EMS or are reconfiguring their data due to a significant change in their billing processes. Topics covered are:

• Configuring pricing plans, rate schedules and calculations
• Applying pricing to groups
• Billing within a reservation
• Billing outside of a reservation
• Generating billing reports

Configuring Virtual EMS (2 Hours)

EMS Lite, EMS Professional, EMS Enterprise, EMS Workplace

Provides assistance for organizations that are implementing Virtual EMS or making changes to the way they are using it. Topics covered are:

• Creating Web Users
• Virtual EMS Parameters

• Processing a request in the client

Introduction to the EMS Professional Advanced Options Module (1 Hour)

EMS Professional

Designed to help you get the most out of the Advanced Options module, this session provides information on:

• Setting up Departments
• Creating Views
• Configuring Security
